I’ve been selling online since 2004 and manage to make a living from it, albeit probably still less than a checkout chick, but a living nevertheless.

I think commission fees are a good and fair way to go. I have registered on a multitude of free art sites now….each more useless in terms of sales than the next. I suspect most of them stay afloat by selling products, printing, etc., within their own memberbase. I am yet to see any of them do anything worthwhile to attract buyers….which is why I was pleasantly surprised to read that you had booked ad space in Art Almanac.

One thing I suggest is that whoever writes the emails, blogs, etc., includes their name at the bottom. Also your “About” page: http://wonderart.com.au/blog/about/ ….needs a bit more thought put into it. I’d like to see names, photos and background information on the people behind Wonder Art.

I wish you well and sincerely hope Wonder Art is a success.
