Getting started with Wonder Art store.

This is a quick guide to show store owners how to set up their Wonder Art store.

Firstly, you will need to apply for a store. Once the store is approved by the Wonder Art team you can follow this step by step guide.

Login to Control Center

Log into Wonder Art using your login user credentials

Click on “Manage Store” button OR “STORE ADMIN” option

 

The screen below is the Control Center homepage. The left menu provides access to all store setup and maintenance functions.

Basic Store Setup and Configuration

Cick “Store Configuration” -> “Store Setup” here you will be able to set up most basic information for your store.

Store name – this cannot be modified.

Store Header – this is the header bubble of your store front page. This is the first thing customers will view when they open your store. We suggest you use this as a brief introduction to your store and update it with any announcements. Max 35 words limit

Store keywords – there are searchable key words of your store. For example you can put in your painting style, artist name(s), words that describe the work you sell, etc.

Store Website – if you currently have a website you can put in the address here to get a link to your website. Search engines will be able to pick up this link. For more info please contact info@wonderart.com.au

Showcase Header and Footer – this is image for your customisable showcase header and footer background, leaving it blank will default the background to gray. For more information about showcase please check this post out

Store status – setting the store to “Offline” will make the store unavailable to customers. You can use this prior to going live.

Tab “Showcase Introduction” – This tab is used for displaying information on the showcase page. This should be used to provide buyers and more detailed introduction to the artist and the art for sale on the store.

Uploading/Managing Artwork

To upload an artwork click on the “Artwork” -> “Add item” this will lead you to the page below:

Simply fill out all the item details on each tab to add your artwork. Please be aware that there are 3 tabs. (1) General (2) Attributes (3) Description.

  1. General
  • Upload your image and enter the item details. Ie Title, Artist(s),Price,etc
  • Recommendations/Limitations: image size 2MB, width 700px.
  1. Attributes
  • These are used to enter the attributes for the item. We have setup some basic attributes for different types of artwork. ie paintings, prints. Important: Use this tab to enter the dimensions of the artwork in centimeters (used by functions of the website).
  1. Description
  • This is a text area where you add as much detail on the item as you want. You can copy and paste text here and can be formatted using simple html tags. ie bold = <b>text here</b>.

    Once all item details are entered, click the “Submit” Button

    Managing your artwork items

    To manage your artwork simply click on the “List Items”, then all of your artwork will be listed. There are 3 clickable option boxes named “Recommended”, “Latest” and “Publish” for each item, you can simply click on these box to change the status.

    Recommended: this item will be shown on the top area of your store front and will be the first items your customers see. This is the most prominent position in your store.

    Latest: similarly to recommended, will be shown on the front page of your store just below the recommended. We suggest you use this to display your newest artwork.

    Publish: this is used to set the item offline/online. The item will not be displayed anywhere on the Wonder Art website if set to offline.

    Options

    View: click this option to view the item in the store

    Edit: use this option to update the item details.

    Delete: deletes the item from your store. This cannot undo this action.

    More: use this option to relate the item to other items in your store. ie. same artist / same genre, etc. Note: we regularly link items with the same artist.
